She was awarded with Hindustan Times Most Inspirational Women Award in the year 2009 for her exceptional work in bringing up illiterate women of the capital.

Being a lawyer, she holds some important positions in BJP Delhi office. She joined as a volunteer, but later on went to become the Executive Committee of BJP in New Delhi region due to her strong commitment.
She also heads the Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) and coordinates Yuva teams in various states too. Currently she speaks on behalf of BJP as media spokesperson of the team.
After looking at her work, she has now been appointed as BJP’s premier candidate to contest against AAP in the upcoming assembly polls.
